Lullaby

Lullaby

A Poem by Blue Ivory

Lullaby

Rest your head upon my valley

And let your tears be my stream

Let this lullaby be the whistling wind

And carry you into a gentle dream

                 Rise,

Feel the                             Feel the

                                                          Fall

Just like motion of the waves

Feel the earth beneath this grass

Warm and nice like a summer’s day

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

This world is reeling slowwwlyyyyy...

Like a crib rocking by itself

I’ll tell the birds to sing tomorrow

Stop all noise

So you can sleep peacefully

Lalalalalalalalalala...

This dizziness will stop

If you just hold on to me...

Rockaby  baby

Whoa... cool effect. Reading these words I felt the room reel slowly past the screen of my computer, did you mean to do that? Second stanza starting with Rise, I actually think I breathed in rhythm with the words. Ha, the poem must've hypnotized me or something with the long drawn out words and the fonts, and I'm really not kidding about this! Dizzying. The title of Lullaby is definitely suitable. :)

A very nice journey into love and desire. I like the photos and the description. Allowing the reader to feel the pleasure. Thank you for a outstanding poem of passion and need.

Saucy and erotic...but this does not need a mature rating. lol
This is one of your best...the imagery...the lullaby of emotions....it's all beautifully crafted. Candy for the eye...and words to indulge in. Like chocolate...you can feel a little guilty because of the calories...but no guilt in the enjoyment of it.
