Unmasking... its wicked disguises...

Stupid heart.. Still believing..

Chasing dreams.. Long lost..

Collecting.. Shattered pieces..

Rebuilding... Broken dreams..

Flitting about..a world of insanity...

A victim.. of Time's conspiracy...

Stranded..Lonely..

Lost in the middle of nowhere..

Searching.. For a way back home...

Crying... All alone...

I tried... closing my eyes..

But it didn't stop the tears...

How can I turn my heart to stone?

Immune.. To your suffering..

How can I walk away?..

It is read like a song.

It is hard to say goodbye to someone and be immune to their existence. It is just impossible, because we are feeling humans who want to serve and help others, especially the ones we love so much. But sometimes the kindest thing we can do is let them be. If they want to come back to us, they will. If not, set them free.

this is sad. sad experiences have had more impact on you compared to the happy ones.. but I like the way you express. you make people think of various things.. its like a stream of consciousness for me reading these lines and then relating to incidents of my life.. very effective

It is a really hard thing to see people that we love suffer, and it is even harder to see that they do not want us to help them, or just be there for them. It is a lesson we have to learn and a pain we have to go through. It is the verge of adulthood, where we learn, that we cannot always change things. That some of them, do remain the way they are. Your emotions are conveyed lively, and you've engaged your reader with this piece.
