Explosives In Ward 6

Explosives In Ward 6

A Poem by t.m.
"

"Let's be best friends."

"

I'll be the Harley to your Joker,

We are Russian roulette;

I'll be the gun you be the bullet.

Just

pull the trigger.

Neither of us quite belong

this couldn't possibly be any more wrong.

We're tainted by this earth

Together we can

tear down the walls of the universe.

Let's shoot a hole in the fabric of their reality.

I'm filthy and so ready

my knees are weak and I'm unsteady.

You're such a saint;

let's break your restraints.

Let go and let's explode.

This hesitation is making me

lose my patience.

I'm so numb,

I've lost the right to life.

"Let's be best friends," says

my neck to your knife.

Author's Note

Seem to have a theme of reality lately...whoops. Maybe that'll change soon. I don't know what this is. It kind of has music when it's in my head, so that may explain it. I don't know. Definitely going to be working on this soon.

:: wow... what a powerful piece of poetry... the closing is spectacular... and the build up is spectacular too... sometimes it feels like that... i remember living in this feeling for more than a year... maybe two... i just felt so bad... and then the universe changed... or maybe i started viewing it differently... :: excellent work... very poignant poetry that i think anyone can relate to...
