Spectres of Sages Fallen

Spectres of Sages Fallen

A Poem by Bobby Madden
"

Fantasy.

"
Stride across blackened earth throughout winter night
Ever remain fire amidst the storm of ice
Witness desecration of the statues of the heroes
The kingdom falls and the evil reigns
The heart is torn from countless blades
Arms are spread and hands are raised
Far away the dragons lament
As they rise through moonlit cloud
Persevere and slaughter every foe
Never retreat and never surrender
Spirit unbroken and allegiance fierce
Never forgetting gardens unscathed
The quest for freedom shall continue after death
Darkness pervades and commanders march in
Nothing is known of the power within
Tidings of valor will echo throughout cosmos
Restless nights in the ancient wood
Trees that stretch for the high galactic lights
Spectres of sages fallen gather and enchant
Your soul is bestowed with abilities mystic
Armor, mail, and helm are silver and blue
Prisons will break and the oppressed will thrive
Adversity shall be faced
But all shall be conquered
