The Battle

The Battle

A Poem by Death Stalker

The ripples of the sky
glimmering under the sun,
down on the sandy floor
contains plants that sway in the current.

The dark and omonius abyss
seems to breath the currents,
inside it, contains pure darkness.
Sometimes, night lights lurk around
showing the battle.

Deep groaning echoed the walls of the abyss
ropes wrapped around a creature
that bashes around, trying to get free.
The ropes tighten,
but a fatal mistake on the rope's part
one of them moved near the creature's mouth.
The creature use this time to bite down.

A screech echoes the wall,
as blood spews out of the cut rope.
The ropes loosen and the creature escape.
The creature turns back to his enemy
and bit down on his rope like head.
Ropes surrounds the creature's neck
but soon it loosen to it fall off.
The enemy slowly drift to the abyss floor
dead,

Death Stalker
Nature time! This poem, if not obvious enough, talks about the battles of the Giant Squid and Sperm Whale. What do you think?
