"I Wish These Trees Would Kill Themselves"

"I Wish These Trees Would Kill Themselves"

A Poem by The Message

They would cut us loose

to help the world get richer,

help the snow get thicker.

They will steal the light from our cure,

steal the life from our fur

in this last gasp of a crocodile's tear.

I don't know about the title...I'm rather fond of trees.

About
I like music (Listening, playing and composing), reading and boardgames. As to writing, I prefer complex metaphor and Lovecraftian influences... and generally being incoherent, haha. more..
