Ive gotta do something
So sick of mundane
I need something diffrent
Its driving me insane

I sit here and stagnate
Can't get no relief
I am cranky and listless
Filling others with grief

So sick and tired
I try to be happy
But the depression soon comes
and I am lost and empty

This has the cadence of a song, to my mind. I could imagine this piece being turned into a blues song. As it stands it is an expressive poem, and I'm sure that most readers will be able to relate to it. Thank you for sharing. ~ Robert.
