In those seconds

When I can feel the worlds above,
and glimpse the stars,
strung like lanterns in the shadows,
I am quiet,
Not from the absence of speech,
Rather the absence of what cannot be said,
And as I sit, with the glass
and the metal walls of the car,
hearing the same songs which sound;
 so much different in the dark,
I think, this is it.
This is it.
The feeling of belonging with the universe.
