Passion's End

Passion's End

A Poem by Nicola

I see the fire that weeps, so weak.

Gone was my passion, a woe, when I burnt

To the very last cinder of love;

My heat a fiery despair.

Touch the spot where we once sparked

Together, our sweat to mix, to bleed;

The fire of love long gone -

Forlorn, in that ruby-drenched hell

Where we once were.

a place of sea walls to pause and watch the nothings...It's amazing how 3 A.M. can actually be any time at all when your mind just takes a pause
