Love For The Moon

Love For The Moon

A Poem by Amanda
"

Be still my beating heart, for thy moon will return this evening.

"
Be still my beating heart,
for thy moon will return this evening.

Quoteth my heart,
Moon of light, shines with such delight,
my heart quickens from the touch of your beam's.

You are as forbidden as any fruit,
that tastes as sweet as you.

Your moonlight,
seeps through my dream's,
bringing me passionate wave's of kissing beam's.

Such a lovely poem. Does the moon metaphorically stands for someone you love? :)
