Moments pass
Our memories fade
The years become a constant reminder of our lonesome fate
As we journey into a world so uncertain
In search of a life that is somewhat hidden

My soul yearns so passionately
For the days when it was just you and me
floating in a bubble of uncouth youth
Dreaming carelessly in a leather of euphoria
But those days are long gone

Regrets,wise mistakes and lonesome souls
Are all that's left to show
Of a past so blissful and untamed

As the moments pass
And our memories fade
Don't forget to remember me.

Such a beautiful wistfulness to this write... how our memories that we hold within our hearts can fade just as we do from this earth. The nostalgia felt upon revisiting the memories of lost love can linger for a life time and we can only wish that those we love so dearly will not forget the love we gave them.
