Silent Night

Silent Night

A Poem by W. Hunt
"

I reflected on Night, by Elie Wiesel, and how I felt that the Holocaust was almost unheard of until only after World War 2 was over.

"
Silent Night
Silence
Not a thing to be heard
Silence
At the end of the day
Silence
As he dies in agony
Silence
As mothers kill their children
Silence
As the train marches on
Silence
As the smoke rises
Silence
As their life fades away
Silence
After the dawn
No More
