ETERNAL COMPANION/LOVE SONNET I

ETERNAL COMPANION/LOVE SONNET I

A Poem by Vincent Gass

When you reach for my hand, I squeeze hard
Not even my words can measure our love
But even so, I shall still try my best
You fill my body with exultation

I crave you, your body, your soul, your mind
You, my companion for eternity
Our temperature of lust is boiling
Intimacy is inexhaustible
The adoration is measureless

Without it, life would be catastrophic
But life is blithe and warm, full of delight
Thanks to my sultry inamorata
I am given all I need in this life
It could never be better without you
