Closet confessions.

Closet confessions.

A Poem by Katrina Lynn.

  That's it,
                   I'm done,
                                    I'm coming out,
"Mom and Dad, I'm gay"
                                           I'm tired of hiding, terrified,
Of what you'd like to say.
                              "You're just curious."
                          Perhaps.
                 "Hormonal?"
I doubt that's reason.
                                            I'm done with lying,
                        pretending, hiding.
                                          When this is really me.

Author's Note

Katrina Lynn.
This is written in the point of view of someone who is facing these problems, Where I'm concerned, I've already 'come out of the closet' with my sexuality.
I like men and women, though it was still quiet a struggle to tell my parents.
