Unrevealed Truth

Unrevealed Truth

A Poem by Emerald Sikdar
"

I am not the person people see me as, I am the person I chose to be.

"
They think of me as a player
One to have a monthly affair
Only if they knew me well
Break my facade, tear my shell

Underneath is someone who wants
To really love, even if for once

Its not them who made me this
Its me, myself and my insecurities.
If your love is a loaded gun,
Then my heart is a bullet proof shield
Bent it, dent it, fold it in half but
The truth shall not be revealed.
