Little things

Little things

A Poem by thebeast666

Out in the warmth of the daylight,

As the tulips lovingly kiss the sky.

You sit and wait in sweet delight.

Comfortably yet blissfully you sigh.

The smell of warm rain hits,

Just as the grey sky spits.

Small horrible evil in their defiance,

Taking people as their slaves.

And at first you are there alliance,

But then you see the past graves.

What they want I do not know.

Hidden among the leaves.

I  think you should go!

Little beautiful thieves,

Wrenched awful filthy.

Please go hurry flee!

Just ever so slightly they appear,

Laughing at the laws they defy;

Yet they never wish to come near.

I know at first they seem shy,

But do not be fooled.

All the horrors I dare not say.

Madly, carelessly unruled,

If I were you I wouldn’t stay.

Evil cold and gloomy yet charming.

These creatures trick and deceive.

They do not look at all alarming.

Oh! the things I did believe,

Now they have me as their own.

Trapped and hidden alone.

Looking as a butterfly,

Lovely easily they lie.

You thought this was make-believe?

Cute yet ever so naive.

If I were you I would cry,

I would run, and hide.

If I were you I just might die!

But of course you tried.

Yet here you are

And here you ever will be.

Still you have no care.

Still I say you must flee!

For every evil thing is true

And evil has chosen you.
