Everyone knows that feeling you get when anything happens

That feeling you get when you come home
That's her
That feeling you get when you sit down for dinner
That's her
That feeling you get when you see a text from you favorite person in the world
That's her
That feeling you get when you collapse in your bed
That's her
That feeling you get when that reoccurring dream happens and it's the reason to sleep
That's her
She makes me feel all these good things
And I only want that to change in one way
I want it to be validated and reciprocated
Because she's all those feelings and more
That feeling you get when you fall off the bike
That's her
That feeling you get when you get hit with the ball
That's her
That feeling you get when you you're about puke
That's her
That feeling you get when you wake up after a midday nap and you don't know what year it is
That's her
That feeling you get when you get no reply
That's her
I know it's not her fault
That it's just the way she is
But I hate that I've fallen so hard
And she's up on the edge of the cliff
Double checking and triple checking the bungee chord and she might not even jump
Whilst I'm at the bottom of the pit with open arms waiting as a cushion in case she falls
