Seperate Ways

Seperate Ways

A Poem by Anon
"

A guys wife is leaving him and he's begging her to come back to him. She tells him its over and he ends his life.

"

I loved you

but still you left me,

going to a friends house,

and taking the suitcase.

I begged you to come back,

throwing out my pride

down on the ground

through my bloodshot eyes.

You stood there

shaking your head

with tear filled eyes

saying it's over.

I asked for another chance

full of emotion,

near the breaking point,

to start fresh.

You looked away

and shattered my soul.

Leaving me once again

never to look back.

You left me there

on my knees

in a hole so dark and deep

that I can't find my way out.

I howled up at the moon

so full and bright

thinking how unfair it was

and became one with the night.

I think more than often a lot of people feel this way. After loosing someone they love so dearly it sometimes to unbearable to stand. This Describes it in a short and brief way but definitely gets the point across. I enjoyed it.
