Defeating Doubt

Defeating Doubt

A Poem by Crifa

Quietly waiting from afar,
Looking up into the stars,
Looking down to the ground,
Waiting for the skill to be found.
Up stand up,
Onto your feet,
Look ahead at this unknown world,
Take the destined leap of faith,
Closed flaps open,
Light flies in,
Until you lift high,
Higher than the rest.
Let the air move you,
Don't fight its desire,
The clouds open wide,
As they bow down to you.
Underestimated power,
Fueled by the fire.
Doubted skill,
Contradicted by desire.
Swoop down low,
Show your kindled flame,
Feathers fall to the ground,
Praising you, your name.

You definitely have a deeper meaning here...my perspective can't seem to find one though, I really feel like I've read this before, especially the beginning, not sure why.
The rhyming is a little inconsistent but I'm sure that was purposeful. I'll come back later and give a better review once I decode this
