Priorities

Grades, looks, sports, whatever,
None of these last forever.
Why try so hard with no avail?
Why not stop, quit, and fail?

All go for the almighty dollar,
School and skill help them get it.
Does being rich make you taller?
I just want some happiness.

Get a family,
Make some friends.
These last forever,
They aren't pretend.

Money's a joke,
Money's a lie,
Give those dollars to the other guy.

Stick with love,
Stick with joy,
Because this one life is not a toy.

Good flow, and rhymes are a good touch. It is mostly true, but somethings are left for opinion like everything. Money isn't everything but I would rather have a house and a car. Otherwise without my opinion good poem. (also thanks for the review for me)

nice flow… and I love the message. You're so right when you say, "Money's a lie," It's as if it promised you happiness, but when you get it you realize that its promises were nothing but lies. Beautifully done. Great job.
