True Love

One of my archived poems.

We like keeping things
Things we think will stay forever
Forever, though, is an illusion
Illusion that's full of lies
Lies of which we love
Love that keeps us alive
Alive and fighting in this world
World of which the truth is nowhere
Nowhere to be found.

Yet we find love
sitting in every corner
Bringing two
people together
Hoping for
forever.
