The Day I Fell In LoveA Poem by TiaGreen
He was the introvert
Quiet Sat in the back of class and never said a word I'd never seen him smile I always thought maybe he wasn't satisfied Wasn't satisfied with the way things were But then it happened. He...smiled And his smile was contagious, for I smiled, too And that's when I realized that he was satisfied Satisfied with the way things were He didn't know that I was watching Watching as the corners of his mouth turned up ever so slightly Watching as he looked up at the sky with his earbuds in Watching him be happy And in those few seconds I fell in love I fell in love with his smile I fell in love with him © 2016 TiaGreen |
