You changed Me

You changed Me

A Poem by From books to cupcakes
"

I'm not depressed or even sad right now, but this was how I felt in sixth grade when I was bullied.

"
Summer turns to winter.
Innocence turns to vengeance.
And as the water freezes,
so does my heart,
because the words you say don't go unnoticed.
So as the birds flee,
so does the hope in me.

Author's Note

From books to cupcakes
So I've never written a poem before and this probably has a lot of mistakes, but don't focus on the grammar too much. I just want to know if it was worth reading.

This is a lovely poem. I enjoyed the metaphors you used and, at such a young age, even more impressive.
