Wandering this desolate plane of existence; hoping for a way out. 
A realization, perhaps an epiphany, that the constant streams of humanity wander parallel to one another.  Everybody striving for the chance to thrive. 
One glance at the giant picture on the horizon, a scoff, a shrug. 
Rather, we focus on the imagined slights against our way of life. 
Revel in the insignificance, celebrate your naivety. 
Finally, a thought pushes to the forefront. An understanding that no one really knows.
After a good chuckle, my wandering is resumed.
