Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

A Poem by Tim Edwards
"

Yep, another one of those.

"
He shrouds himself in the shadows
He watches through another's eyes.
As you glance at the broken stranger
Believing all his lies

Everything told winds a story
Every new light brings the blind.
With any new love comes the worry.
Bittersweet satisfaction in time.

A new man stands on the horizon
A new being untainted by lies
As you look upon the beautiful visage
Swallowed by all of his sighs

All men have a beginning
A place in a past time.
A new love in the writing
Satisfaction of a new kind
