I'll Give You a Hand

I'll Give You a Hand

A Poem by Noename

I hate when they do that,

Hold out their hand.

Say they'll help you stand.

But all they do is give you a show,

Grab your hand to let you go.

What do when become?

When we play false friend.

It's a sick message to send.

But whos falt is worse?

The hunter who set the trap,

or the trapped who supplied the hunter?

There is one more I've to say,

There be not much longer

I can stand to stay.

This game is not my play.

So hold your hand to yourself,

      I'll struggle to stand

                  on my own.
