They were a bunch of normal kids...Until killing became their high. But if you can change into a killer, you can change back too.

Once Upon A Dare

 

How It All Started

     It all started on a Thursday night over the summer.  Brett Johnstone was hanging out with some of his friends at a local bar where they all had gotten drunk.  Upon leaving the bar 1 of Brett's friends said he would give Brett $100 if he killed 1 of their enemies named Matt from Greenglass College where they currently went to school so Brett figured he would creep into his house,kill Matt,get his money and go buy more beer.  So they drove out to Rockshore West in Brett's 4 door station wagon where Matt lived.  Once they arrived Brett realized he didnt have any weapon to defend himself with in case Matt did so he went to the nearest gas station,filled an empty bottle of beer with the gas,then he went back to Matt's house.  He then taped a piece of notebook paper to the bottle with half in and half out of the bottle and then lit it and threw it inside the house and ran back to the car to avoid injury. They immediately backed out of Matt's driveway and put the pedal to the floor until they were a safe distance away from the house and then they stopped on the side of the rode to congratulate Brett for doing it,give him his money, and congratulate themselves for not being found by the cops yet.

The Investigation

     It took the firefighters about 2 hours to extinguish the blaze Brett set. The outside of the house looked pretty bad and so did the inside of the house. The police had a very difficult time investigating this due to the fire and water from the firefighters but they found pieces of the beer bottle and evidence of gasoline around the pieces of the beer bottle using a special fluid that indicates gasoline. Therefore, making them publicly state that it was an arson fire and not an accident but they had no witnesses or evidence to lead them to a suspect turning the arson into a cold case.

A Near Jail Experience

The guys enjoyed the thrill of killing people and running from the cops so much they decided to do it at least a few more times. This time they only Brett and his best friend who dared him to do the last killing went. Their mode of murder would be another fire seeing as how the police couldn't catch them from the last time they thought it would be a good idea.

     After looking at a map for a few minutes the 2 decided to go to Jefferson, Los Santos.The next kill and run they did was to a random person at about midnight. They hid in the alleyway behind the house. And because there were no windows in the back or side of the house they had to throw the beer bottle into the front part of the house. Then once they were both ready Brett's friend sneaked up on the side of the house farthest from the road with his 9 millimeter pistol in his hand in case anyone saw them. After a few seconds of watching he motioned to Brett that everything was clear so Brett sneaked up the same side as his friend  and carefully but quickly sneaked up to the sidewalk, motioned his friend to run back to the car, and then he threw it.  But, this time a neighbor witnessed the crime although the only thing they could make out due to the darkness of their clothes and the night was that there were 2 people and that they were driving a dark colored 4 door station wagon.   

 

The Jefferson Investigation

The police got lucky this time. Upon leaving the scene Brett's friend had stepped on the gas causing their tire treads to be seen and causing the police to match the tire style to Brett's friend's car. Brett and a couple of his friends were hanging out at Brett's friends house when the police knocked on the door. Brett convinced everyone to stay seated and wait to see what the police wanted. He opened the door and let the police in. First they asked "Which one of you owns the dark blue station wagon out front?" Brett's best friend said that he did. So the police started questioning him with questions like "Where were you last night?" and "How come we found your tire tread at a house that was purposely lit on fire using a bottle and gasoline?" And they got answers like "Right here because my friend took my car for the night. I lent it to him." and "Like i said man i wouldn't know because i was here and a friend of mine had my car." After hearing his testimony they asked him if they could have a look around the place but they were denied permission.

     They left the house angered and frustrated causing 1 of the police officers to take out a silenced pistol and shoot all of the tires on all of the non-police cars.

     A few hours after police left 1 of the guys decided to leave for the night and go home. He got in his car not being able to see the flat tires and started driving. He had only gotten a few feet before he noticed something was wrong. He reached in his glove box and pulled out his flashlight to take a look. Once he noticed the tires on all the cars were flat he ran back inside and told all the guys which in turn caused everyone to run outside and have a look for themselves. They immediately called the state police to investigate it knowing the local police would deny it all. The state police took the bullets out of the tires and matched them with one another meaning they were all from the same gun. Then getting a warrant for all the Los Santos police's guns and matching the bullets from the tire to that of the bullets from the gun of a Charles Mayweather who was locally known as "The Legend of Police". He was arrested and convicted to 60 days of prison term and 1 year of prohobation and no longer being able to serve as a police officer in any state. Also, no charges could now be pressed on Brett or any of his friends due to the officer's behavior.

 

The Hit

     To help avoid any unwanted attention to themselves they stayed out of trouble until the former cop, Charles Mayweather, got out of jail. It was easy for them to track him down, all they did was watch the news reporters following him. Then they found the place on a map, marked it down, and payed Charles a visit. They were all "heated", some with 9 millimeter pistols others with Tech Nines and still others with desert eagles. They carefully approached the house watching all over knowing if he saw them he'd want revenge. They got to the door, knocked, and Charles opened the door. They all aimed their guns at him and he raised his hands in fear of being shot and killed. They forced him to get into the back seat of his car while they filled the same car to keep an eye on Charles and then everyone else filled the other cars so no cars were left at the house. Brett lead the group in Charles' car and drove out to a large hill in San Fierro right beside Flint County. They made him get out and walk to the edge of the cliff all while aiming their guns at him. All of a sudden Charles turned around with his shotgun in hand and attempted to kill them however the shooting was short-lived. Brett's men had shot Charles off the cliff as soon as Charles shot. Brett got back into Charles' car and drove it off the cliff jumping out right before he fell off the hill.

     Very few people seemed to notice Charles had left and the few that did either didn't care or figured it was a suicide. The police had attempted to search the spot they thought he probably jumped from but their cars were too weak to get up the steep hill and every other place they thought he might have jumped off of showed no sign of a struggle nor any blood evidence causing them to rule the death a suicide.

Guns Guns and More Guns!

     Brett and his friends 1 day decided to get some better guns from the local gun store and seeing as how they had very little money because of paying the college they just went into the gun store and robbed it. They took the infamous 4 door station wagon they had used previously used, got their best guns, and headed off to the gun store. By this time the public was well aware of the station wagon and the driver from the evidence from the 2nd arson case being released to the public but that didn't stop Brett and his pals from using it. They calmly went into the gun store but once inside they fired a few shots into the air to warn everyone in there that robbers were there. The clerk shot back but Brett and his 3 friends easily killed him. As soon as they took the guns they wanted they ran out into the car and were about to drive away however someone outside had seen the infamous station wagon and destroyed the car and ran off. The boys shot the car up seeing no way of using it to get very far anyways and ran across the sreet, hopped a fence and hid behind a combination of buildings and walls where they could not be seen. While waiting there they thought up many different plans but only 1 that seemed to work. 2 of them walked out near the road closest to the local hospital with their guns out looking for any police in the area. Once they saw no sign of police around the 2 ran out in front of a 4 door car where they nearly got run over but the driver reacted quick enough to stop before hitting them and then 1 of them pulled the driver out and beat him until he looked dead or close to it at least. Then the other 1 motioned for Brett and his other friend to hurry and hop in and then they sped off to Brett's house so they could "chill" at his "crib".

Payback is a beach.

     The boys were all hanging out at 1 of Brett's friends hangouts watching the news where they heard that a police car was stolen. No one would have expected what happened next. They heard the sudden siren of a police vehicle. The next thing they knew a little more than 200 bullets came blasting through the house killing 10 of the 14 people inside. Brett and the other 3 immediately called the cops and then ran to get their guns. Brett already had his Desert Eagle hidden in his pants pocket so he pulled that out and looked out the window but saw nothing unusual except some tire tracks on the road nearby. Fearing the shooter would come back they ran upstairs to watch because they doubted anyone would shoot upwards and also they knew that height was an advantage when shooting. So they stayed up their with their guns drawn watching out the window until the cops came then they immediately hid their guns and went downstairs to greet the police. As soon as the police saw all the bodies they called a few ambulances and back-up. The boys left and went to the police station because they had to get questioned and it sounded like a nice place to be safe.

Nice Eyes

     The interrogation started off pretty usual. The investiagtor asked him what had happened and Brett explained everything in perfect detail. Once Brett told the investigator about the tire tracks he saw the investigator ran out to check them out knowing that no of his men would be looking outside yet. Once the tire track prints were collected they found it to be a match to only 5 peoples cars in all the states. It was a  somewhat rare motorcycle. Upon questioning them and verifying the truth of their testimony only 1 turned out to be lying. After asking the police if they saw the man the police all said "Yes." It turned out that he was friends with the 2nd person Brett and his buddies killed and took things into his own hands after hearing the tire tracks matched Brett's friends' car. He then had his friends to walk around town and watch for their faces. It took a while but they finally found them. Next, he stole the police car and gave that to his friend who was holding his motorcycle. Then the guy with the police car dropped off 1 guy to block the road at one end a ways away and then he took the car up a little ways past the house and blocked that off and then the other guy finally pulled up beside the house while still being on the road and blasted away but in a hurry he left his tire tracks. He was arrested for 1st degree murder of 10 people and his friends were arresdted for aiding the homicide. They were all convicted. The killer was sentenced to death immediately in front of town where he was shot off a very high building and then plunging to his death. There were 1,000's of people there to witness the execution and some even took photos and video recordings of it.

People Can Change

     The guys were so shaken from nearly getting killed and the death of 10 of their friends they all quit killing. Brett ,being very good at football, decided to drop out of Greenglass College and wait until next year to attempt to become a college football player. 1 of the other guys decided to become a mechanic. Another became a boxer. (Song :Papa Roach-Last Resort) »The last guy being so shaken had drove his car off a cliff leaving every possession, dollar, and penny he had to the guys and a suicide note. The others weren't really shocked because he always seemed to be that kind of guy. The boys seemed to be closer than ever. They knew where the others were, were going to be, their job, what they were thinking and so on and so on.

His Dream

     Brett had always dreamed of becoming a football player but like many people he didn't think it would ever happen but now it was coming true even though most the people around the state said he would only be good enough to be a back-up. He played quarterback due to his acurracy, arm strength, speed, and overall amazing ability at quarterback. He was chosen by the Miami Hurricanes. He chose the number 10 for how many friends he lost in the drive-by shooting. (STATS). He went on into the NFL and became a star quarterback for the (TEAM) and then becoming a Hall of Fame QB after 10 years in the NFL.

Author's Note

I know their are a few mispellings but i havent finished editing it yet. Believe it or not i am only 15 and none of the things talked about in the story have ever ocurred in my life. And, everything in the story is all my own ideas. I was planning on turning it into a movie using the game Grand Theft Auto(GTA) San Andreas which is why if you've ever played the game you should recognize some of the places in the story.
