Lost Angels

Lost Angels

A Poem by Tina Kline

darkness descends

angels cry

alone and abandoned

forsaken by those

who once loved them

crying tears

into an ocean of nothingness

of uncaring

does anyone hear

the tears of the angels

wings unfurl

there is no place now in Heaven

so instead

they find their way

to Hell

where Satan embraces

God's lost Children

forgetfulness

hurt bleeding away

Come back!

Come back!

It is never too late

but they can't hear

the truth

anymore

Captivating. Makes me think of the bible and its stories of the fallen ang4le.

Thanks so much Sean! :)
This brings to mind when the Angels of Heaven fell. So many went with Lucifer. One has to wonder if they can even hear God's voice anymore.

Superb job on this very creative poem/tale.

Thank you.
A very dark and compelling tale, reminding me of biblical stories.
Very ominous and chilling...grand descriptions.
Very well done.
