![]() Funeral AngelA Poem by Tina KlineWaiting in the shadows of the cemetery with wispy coiling mists and tombstones of grey waits the Funeral Angel. So sad So lonely long ago she forgot how to pray. She sits on her Marker with somber eyes so sad. Sometimes you can hear her cry. Her tragic sobs will tear at your heart if you hear her. If you go by this cemetery on a cold October night you can see her and hear her in her long gossamer smoky gown and her long shadowy hair. If you go near the cemetery the Funeral Angel will be there weeping. Sitting on her Marker. But her name and dates have faded but she has not. The Funeral Angel weeps through the centuries. Maybe someday someone will see her and she'll tell them why, why she so tragically cries. © 2010 Tina KlineReviews
