Coyote Howling

Coyote Howling

A Poem by Tina Kline

Singing out on the desert landscape
Warm winds ruffling her hair
Coyote tilting her head skyward
Sending forth her song
Her howling rises to the stars
Hear her voice at sunset
Hear her voice at dawn
Songster of the drier places
In this wild place she belongs

I like the song of nature. From the wolves, coyotes and night animals to the waking of the birds singing loudly celebrating another day of life. A excellent poem. Thank you for a powerful and beautiful poem. No better sounds then the sounds of nature. A outstanding poem.

My lovely Tina, You have a way to bring your animals to life, to give them that little something extra. You last two lines are what brought this to life for me. Something about them really grabbed me. Great work.

Regards,

Matthew
