The moon hanging low brilliant blue against the black night sky skeleton trees rattle in the cold breeze somewhere in the distance a thin wailing howl rises upward something riding the ebony winds something haunting something only nightmare dreams can believe the moon's silver light radiates sweeping the earth far below catching a beast that hunts a light that makes his grey coat glow hunger pulsing coiling stalking the beast with needs so powerful howling sweeping across the living soon to be in the place of the dying the moon slowly moving on the blood of the living spilled in death satisfied and content, the beast is gone

So well written, Tina, it's good to be back here... " the moon's silver light radiates
sweeping the earth far below catching a beast that hunts" I felt this one, for it speaks not only about the howling ones, but also richer... thank you for sharing.

The moon can mean many different things. Both positive such as love, peace, gentleness and negative like menace, fear and death. Awesome werewolf poem.
