Awake -- again ...A Poem by Tinderhrted When sleep evades  At 1 am
Sleep evades me Once again. Night ... you truly Aren't my friend - Wide awake am I again. Head hits the pillow Eyes alert! Sprinkle sleep dust (Heck - throw dirt!) Why? Ohhh WHY? Why still awake? Fall A-S-L-E-E-P For goodness sake! All for nought Just "ain't to be!" When it is time Sleep will find me. © 2014 Tinderhrted |
