All's Fair Enough

All's Fair Enough

A Poem by J.Tippins
"

What's left after having been left.

"
I let my inner beast die.
My hair grew to the floor.
Helplessness.

She left me an empty house and stomach.
Just one beer in the fridge.
I lazed about.

I've been home ever since.
She never came back.
I've never left.
