Blue Iris and a Black-Eyed Moon

Blue Iris and a Black-Eyed Moon

A Poem by Tkess

That’s when it all hit me

Like a deer in the headlights

Frozen, but exploding

With bright blue neon

My mind cascading

With burning, flickering

Embers dancing back to earth

Nymphs frolicking beneath

This dazzling yellow searchlight

Finding myself once again

Hurled beneath heavens overflowing

With handed down discounted blessings

The plight of the pessimist

The amusement of the gods

Wading through the bullshit

High tide and the lowest ebb

Reach high, get burned

Like the stars you see above the night horizon

It’s already gone

Reminds me of a floating imagination under the influence of Floyd, Tool and King Crimson.

You make words spiral! The imagery is remarkable, as always from you love..everything has already gone....we try to put all our eggs into one basket...and when we count them...what have we got?
Wow!
You make you reader think hon...thats for sure!
