Lose It

Lose It

A Poem by Tyler.mallett

I'm not getting any younger
Getting any younger
But my head stopped spinning
And I've died of hunger.
My heart stops beating
It's like I'm dreaming
The sweetest dream
And I'll be damned if I'm leaving.
I'm not getting any younger
Getting any younger
But my head stopped spinning
And I've died of hunger.
My heart stops beating
It's like I'm dreaming
The sweetest dream
And I'll be damned if I'm leaving.

I'll be damned if I'm leaving the same old mark
And I'm growing tired of
losing the spark.

Communication is becoming useless.
Monsters and the beasts have no use for words.
Taming the tongue goes further than expected
When you know the right time to shut your mouth.

I'll be damned if I see the sunlight.
I'll be damned if I write another song.
Cause the only thing worse than the thought of you
Is the thought of us getting along.
