The one

She was like a drug
When ever i was around her i was high
I didn't care who saw me with her
Or what they thought
But, with all highs there is always a low
I find myself now starring at the text
"He asked me out!"
It felt like my heart was put into a meat grinder
She gave me his name and i didn't recognize it
She said it was a guy from her school
but all i could think about was everything i didn't say
All i had to say where three simple words
Three words and she would of been mine forever
Three words
"I love you"

I think this is very good. It captures some universal feelings we can all relate to.
Be careful of spelling and punctuation. :) "Starring" should be staring, for instance. :)

IF this is from a real life experience, my advice is, it is never too late.
