God Save Us From The Preachers

God Save Us From The Preachers The preachers came to town
Once a year or so
And from church to church in the parish
To save souls they would go.
They called themselves the mission
We called them other names not to their face ...


The Woodcutter

The Woodcutter
The woodcutter with sharpened saw
Went to the woods one day
And he liked the timber that others scorned
He ignored what they did say
That the timber was damp and burned slowly
And gave away little heat
Just sapped the energy of the woodcutter
To cut for firewood was a fools feat. [...]
