A funny and less cheesy romantic poem!!!

Cupid the Hitman 1024x358 Cupid the Hitman

Cupid from Galatea by Raphael

There’s a little fella flying,
He’s appearing here and there,
Striking victims at random,
He can appear anywhere!

The police put out a description…
A chubby cherub with wings…
Known to strike folk by twos!
Afflict them with love, and all that brings!

The Garda are looking for him…
The ERU have been deployed!
The Irish Army are being mobilized -
But all their plans have been destroyed!

Garda Emergency Response Unit 300x225 Cupid the Hitman

The Gardai " Irish police " on the lookout for Cupid.

This funny flying fugitive,
Has got some victims more…
The authorities have given up!
And all lovers hearts are sore…

So, keep a wary eye out for him…
Police and army are advising all…
He’s shooting arrows indiscriminately…
Victims in love they fall!

This made me smile and kind of laugh. It's extremely cute yet sort of haunting in a way...

I love this! I've always thought that little guy was evil. Never trust a flying baby who shoots arrows at innocent bystanders.

I fear your warning will do no good. Like knowing the astroid will fall does not change the fate of those who will live in the aftermath!
Fun poem.
