SSENEVIGROF

SSENEVIGROF

A Poem by Tomi

They’d pull off their clothes; sex sells

Hormones, beauty and sex cells

Why can’t I drift away from the lusting?

And all the other things I’m lost in

Who do I serve, what do I trust in

Why so much pain from those I’ve been trusting

If this is a blessing; tell me what a curse is

I went from saying Amen to raining down curses

But the truth about knowing God is

You may never know love until you know who God is

Some battle are for a lifetime. Good and bad will test us to the end. I was a Soldier and single for 15 years. I like the edge. Most of us when we are young. Hard to worship god and walk a straight line. Thank you for the excellent poetry. Made my old mind think.

hmm.. a very reflective piece... your heart is so genuine and I am grateful for that.. we can all be made of love though, there is nothing stopping us from that but ourselves.

Good poem, but I don`t agree with the last line. Atheists and Agnostics can fall in love too !
