Fall

Fall

A Poem by Tonya's CoffeeWrites

The color of the leaves change by her blindly deep emotions,
no others can see this as much as I.
She holds on tight with all of who she is,
all of what she was told she had been.
It does not matter though,
leaves just like walls are meant to come down.
With every earthshaking tremble,
every intense touch and the presence of my being,
the leaves start to fall to the ground.
I can smell on her that tantalizing spice,
instantly I find comfort.
I wrap within her, I want to snuggle up.
I find myself thinking of what's to come,
the excitement is overwhelming.
I know there will be fires that consume us,
just the thought makes me warm inside.
Cuddling in the blankets, kissing over hot chocolate,
inhaling the smells, the fire within,
besides being in the moment dear,
Fall is here!
