Cherry Blossom Viewing

Cherry Blossom Viewing

A Poem by D.E. Ball
"

This haiku is about a yearly tradition in Japan, called "hana-mi." During this period of cherry blossom viewing, company workers and friends gather in parks to eat, drink, and have a good time.

Cherry Blossom Viewing

Sitting in the grass.

Beer and snacks spread on our tarp.
White adorned trees.
