Shattered peices of a split level reality

 

They scream inside me

speaking truths unveiled

The truthful words of who am I me

 

They know the real me

scarcely able to breathe

They know the real me

 

The one whose twisted sense of self defies thee

 

They know that I know

they are onto me

They know that I know

 

That reality is split inside me

 

So they try to hide me

I tried to hide me

so they would never see

the real me exposed with no privacy

i love it, i can feeel the emotion as i read along.

really like that line

and for me personally the poem made me think... what is it inside that iam trying to hide... or what do i want to keep secret... idk i just like the way this poem provokes ideas etc...

This piece is very lyrical. I can almost imagine the music for it. like Dark Rose commented the emotion is strong and there. Everyone I believe struggles with this idea -writers especially- so it's one that people will be able to understand on a universal level. Great piece.
