Tea Party.

Tea Party.

A Poem by Beth Shade
"

What's expected, what she doesn't want to be.

"
A spot of tea,
 One spoon of sugar,
 Smile and tip your hat.
 Take a bow or curtsey,
 It’s only this or that.
Smile dear and lift your chin,
Bat your eyes and zip your lips,
 Swallow softly,
 You mustn’t slurp.
 You’re a lady now.
 In this hallow town.
 You’re a lady now.
 Once upon a gown.
