Chameleons.

Chameleons.

From the collection, Mono no aware By Tylor Traxler

"
If I was the sky and you were a star
I could change colors to hide where you are
And you’d show me your shapes
The crazy and wild,
The people trace on the map
Connecting dots like a child

If I was the rain and you were a cloud
We’d be one in the same, until I fell to the ground
And you’d drop me when you’re tired
I’d make the rivers flow faster
It was never our desire
To create a natural disaster

This is great! I love the romance of the structure and rhyme scheme. Well done!
