N***A

N***A

A Poem by Trina Lee

Disrespect my full figure
But not making four figures
But n****s like to pull triggers
On the block all day , just to come home with
pennies , nickels , dollars

So why should I respect a n***a?

Criticisms of why women should be like ladies
But single mothers gotta play daddies

N****s not politically qualified
wanna blame the white guy
Quick to talk about the genocide as if the past was to solve all the problems that we facing today

So why should I respect a n***a?

When playgrounds stopped being safe grounds for children to play
When a mother's biggest fear is her son not coming home the next day
each day is a day of living in fear
Because tomorrow someone will be in tears
and a child will never arrive home from school
All because of a senseless n***a
