Souless

Souless

A Poem by Tripp

As the boy gets slowly beaten,
His insides are slowly eaten.
His soul is badly shattered,
A broken boy lays shattered.
Looking in a broken mirror,
A pale broken boy crying crimson tears.
The white carpet blood stained,
He limps into the falling rain.
Falling to the ground,
His body is not found.
The next morning, He’s found dead,
A girls heart fills with dread.
The sixteen year old boys body in a grave,
An angel that couldn’t be saved.
The girl is no longer sane,
As she cries in pain.
As the razor makes her bleed,
Is this really what she needs?
She puts a fist over her heart,
Knowing that her and the boy will never part.
And so she dies,
With echoing cries.
Going through the night,
As another soul takes flight.
