Thoughts After The OGTs

Thoughts After The OGTs

A Poem by Tripp

I sit watching outside and think,

All my thoughts up to the brink.

Why can’t you scare me into fright?
So I can sleep in a deep silent sleep tonight?
I want to dream of you so bad,

Sometimes it makes me so mad.

And right now it drives me off the wall,

Make me fall and makes me crawl.

These hot steamy wet tears,

These things I haven’t felt in years.

I want to be with you right now,

And I’m wondering why and wondering how.

And I want to dream these sacred dreams,

Because you don’t know how much you mean.

Not only to your family, But me as well,

You made me come up and out of my shell.

So tonight I want to dream of you,

Just like the way I always do.
