Sometimes we choose love, Sometimes we choose drugs

I read once that 

'drugs are what you do

instead of loving someone'.

It sounds depressing

but true.

I guess that's why

our first days were

so wild and fun. 

But now you're still high

and I can't stop thinking

of you.

I really liked this poem. It has a touch fo sadness, but also excitement because the person can't stop thinking about the person they met.
