A Poem by Aislinn Gryffin ((Ashes))

Flashing colors,

Shining lights,

Fires burn throughout the nights.

Rushing peple,

Racing thoughts,

Hear the screams of the distraught.

As dreams fade

And are replaced

By wicked nightmares of the blade

And of the flames,

Burning bright,

Shattering the silence of the night.

It's very good. I like the way you use your words here.
Great job!!

The distractions and downfalls of everyday life is what i gather... reminds me of the unexpected negativity of a place bigger than youve known, like a city.
