My thoughts on finding a relationship

My thoughts on finding a relationship

A Poem by Robert A. Dore

Its difficult.
Playing the field?
No.
Still stuck on the sidelines
Its said that women look for personality
Not looks or my mind.
But i think the one for me needs a map to find mine.
So people tell me i'm still young
I got plenty of time
I'm only 24 and they're not sure what im rushing for.
Good things to come those wait for it.
wait...hush for a minute
Theres a vision that
No one has ever got anything from just waiting
They had to get out and work for it
Im hurtin from working, observing all these jerks smirking as we flirting but our words arent inserted where these girls want so now I'm
Stuck in surgery in the emergency room of doom and gloom of life and the doctor has no patience.
Its no wonder every time i get rejected
I go home
take a cold shower and relieve the frustration and sour feelings.
I dont have to..
I must hate it
Wake up
Go to work
come home
Go back to sleep alone
Repeat the process
So sick of all this stupid nonsense
You want a knight in shining armor
No you dont.
Otherwise you ladies wouldnt be so blind when you say you can't find a decent guy
But you give in to these wolves in the sheep's clothing
And when they broke you
You claim we are all the same
No.
